I think everyone has had such a case when you Google Play I took a closer look at some application, but the developer decided that the application would not work on your device or in your country.

You often see messages such as “Not available in your country”, “Not supported on your device”.

How can I download an application that is not supported in your country?

If the app is not available in your country, a VPN will help. Here is the simplest and fastest VPN client:

Download and install it. Initially, the user has 500 MB of traffic available; to get 1 GB, he needs to register.

To start connecting, you need to allow this application to monitor traffic:

The curtain should display two notifications: a system one (with the key and VPN server ID) and one from Phantom VPN with available traffic.

Then go to the settings of the “Accounts” section and register with Google again so that the new account is registered in the country where the server is located. We go to the Google Play Store, agree with everything, and download the application you want!

How can I download an application that is not supported on my device?

If the application developer thinks that his creation will not work normally on your device, then there is still a way out, how to download it.
You will need an application.

Need rights!

For example, you have a tablet, and the application is intended only for phones. Open the application, select any phone model that Google Play likes, for example Samsung Galaxy S3. Open the Google Play Store and download the application!

How to download an application that is not “friendly” with a telecom operator?

If your smartphone is connected to cellular networks, then Google can use operator information to determine your country. Application

Does your smartphone not support the application you want to download from Google Play Store? This happened before, but isolated complaints about the problem merged into a chorus of dissatisfied voices when a new game from the Asphalt series, Asphalt Xtreme, appeared and instantly skyrocketed to the peak of popularity. Owners of Xiaomi Redmi 3S smartphones were especially disappointed, as they massively received the message “Not supported on your device.” Today we will teach you how to bypass this limitation.

If you want to download a larger new game or connect to a new streaming service, but the application or service is incompatible with your device or is not available in your country, this is not a reason to abandon your intentions. That’s what’s good about our beloved operating system that on Android devices there is always a way to get what you want. So, we will show you how to install incompatible applications on Android using simple manipulations.

To install an application that is not compatible with your device, you will need the Market Helper program. Let's assume you have superuser rights to your device. Then all you need to do is go into your security settings and then download Market Helper.

1. Launch Market Helper.

2. Select a compatible device:

You will see four drop-down menus: device type, device model, location (country), and media. They will be automatically populated according to your device specifications. You can change this information by selecting the appropriate fields for another device or model that is compatible with the application you want to download. So, if you want to download an application on your smartphone that is intended only for tablet computers, you can select your tablet model from the drop-down menus and register its data on your smartphone as a “new” device. It is clear that the choice of models will not be huge, but what is offered from the desired category of devices is quite enough to achieve the goal.

So, you need:

  • Select device type;
  • Select the device model;
  • Select region;
  • Select media (if necessary).

3. Click " Activate" at the bottom of the screen and agree to the superuser prompt when it pops up. You may also have to agree to certain app rights regarding information access, depending on the version of Android your device is running.

4. You will see the message " Activated successfully"indicating the selected device model and operator, as well as a suggestion to go to the device manager and wait for the data to change to what you need. As soon as this happens, you can safely launch the Play Store and download the application you are interested in.

Notes:

  • If you have problems with the Play Store, try clearing the cache or simply downloading the apk file of the application you need, spending a little time searching for it in Chrome or borrowing it from other users.
  • To install an application that is not available in your country, try the following:

Have you ever seen a phrase similar to the one in the title? "Where?" - you ask? We are, of course, talking about Google Play. It is possible that you were not lucky enough to meet her, or rather, you were lucky not to meet her (although, who knows what happiness is?). But even if you haven’t seen it, this does not mean that the problems associated with this phrase have passed you by. It's like that gopher: you don't see it, but it's there. So what is hidden behind these words, and why you may or may not be able to see it.

If we start from very far away (how boring I am!), then we can delve into the jungle of compatibility of different versions of Android, hardware platforms, various form factors, pixel density, and so on and so forth. This is all, of course, correct and true - if a program is not designed to work under certain conditions, then it is not designed. This is in theory. In practice, as usual, the theory fails... in certain situations. I'll tell you my story.

For a long time I was a happy, dare I say it, owner of a Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Samsung products are mainstream; all manufacturers, not only hardware, but also software, look up to them. Therefore, I practically did not encounter compatibility problems. No, of course, the device was old and many new features of the programs designed for the Android KitKat version were not available, but... The programs themselves, after all, worked, albeit with reduced capabilities, but they worked.

But I wanted something new, however, as usual, a crisis came and priorities shifted. I still wanted a new one - this does not depend on the crisis, but I wanted something cheaper, and this is a direct consequence of the crisis. And, oddly enough, something like this was found. As a result, for the second month now I have been, again, the happy owner of an Asus MemoPad 7 ME572CL tablet.

However, along with a new device, a new operating system, and new capabilities, as usual, new problems appeared. At the same time, in many cases, the word “new” can be safely put in quotation marks - for me, the former owner of a device running Android 4.1.2, they are new, the rest of the world no longer remembers about them, or, certainly not considers them new. Suffice it to remember. However, for the time being, I did not experience problems with the compatibility of software and hardware, although I understood that, in the case of the Asus tablet, not everything is so simple. He still produces iron. One quad-core processor from Intel with support for 64-bit operations is worth it. Also, we had to, for example, resolve issues related to... But that's not all.

It so happened that, almost simultaneously with the tablet from Asus, I also acquired, with the help of Santa Claus, an Asus ZenFone 5 phone. For almost all of these two months, the phone was used only for its intended purpose and the software on it did not change - what was installed on it by the manufacturer was used, and even then, not very actively. The main assistant, as before, remained a seven-inch tablet.

I don’t remember why, but at some point in time, I suddenly installed a bunch of Yandex programs on my phone. Ah... I remembered! At first, the tablet was discharged, but payments had to be made. Then, on a trip, I had to look up the route, and taking the tablet out of my bag was not convenient. Then, it was necessary to call Yandex.Taxi when returning from a friend’s anniversary, but using the tablet, situationally, was not convenient. In general, after thinking a little, I decided that, for convenience, the phone also needed to be equipped with the necessary software, which is what I did - I installed several programs from Yandex and not only. At the same time, the role of the tablet has not changed - it still remained and remains the main assistant.

And the day before yesterday evening, I was sitting, looking through the news and came across a note that Yandex had released a new program that allows you to get information on parking, pay for parking, if necessary, with Yandex.Money, or from a card linked to Yandex.Wallet, and also from a mobile phone account or a special parking account. They even announced the possibility of plotting a route taking into account the location and congestion of parking lots close to the destination.

News on the RBC website

All these possibilities, in theory, looked quite attractive, and I thought, why not try using this program instead of the Moscow Parking program from the Automation Department of the Moscow Government? In general, I decided to install this program, since the link to the Google Play Market was provided in the article.

If I click on the link, a new browser tab opens, there is a description of the program, reviews, everything. And this little note says that the program is not compatible with all your devices. I open the list of devices, and there, in fact, there are a couple for which the program cannot be downloaded. And among these rejected devices is my new tablet.

Hello, we've arrived! What the Bolsheviks have been talking about for so long has come true - I can’t install a program on my brand new tablet from Asus due to the features of either the program or the tablet itself. In general, I didn’t grieve for long, especially since my new phone was listed as a supported device - and I installed the program on the phone.

I'll do it here small retreat. It is from the category of “amazing - close by”, “live and learn” and so on. This is how people install programs on Android devices? I don’t know about you, I did this all the time on the device itself: either through the Google Play Market program, or by downloading an apk file and running it to install (for this, the “Unknown sources” option must be enabled in the device’s security settings). And, to be honest, I didn’t even think about whether there were other installation methods. As it turns out, they do exist.

You can perform installation on the device remotely, directly from the browser, on any computer, the main thing is that the device is turned on and has access to the Internet, and not in principle, but here and now. If these conditions are met, to remotely install the program you like, just click on the Install button on the program page in the Market (let me remind you, in the browser on your computer) and select the desired device from the list of your devices. After this, the program will be downloaded and installed on the device. This is exactly how I, for the sake of experiment, installed the Yandex.Parking program on my phone.

But let's continue. I installed the program on my phone and tried to forget about this unpleasant incident with the tablet. I think a little time will pass and the programmers will make the necessary changes, after which the tablet will be added to the list of supported devices. We just need to wait a little. But life is cruel, or, as the younger generation says now, life is pain. In the evening of the same day I was hit by a second blow.

Among the programs installed on the phone, there is a very important one - “VTB24 Mobile Bank”. And in the evening you receive a notification on your phone about the availability of updates for several programs, including the Mobile Bank program. I updated, everything is fine, I take out the tablet, there is also a notification about the availability of updates, but “Mobile Bank” is not in the list of updated programs.

“It’s no big deal,” I thought. “Probably, it’s just that some meta-information on the Google Play Market didn’t have time to update.” This has sometimes happened before. In such cases, it was enough to wait and, after some time, a new notification about updates would arrive, the list of which included the previously missed program. Or you could not wait, but update manually - to do this, you need to find the desired program in the Market and click the "Update" button. I decided not to wait and update manually.

Now I understand why I was impatient - most likely subconsciously, I was afraid that new version The VTB24 Mobile Bank program has become incompatible with the tablet. But at that moment, I simply launched the Play Market on the tablet, typed the name of the program in the search bar and saw this picture.

The verdict is completely clear - the new version of the program will not work on my tablet. And then I got angry. I use this program quite actively, the new version promised significant improvements, but here it is - such an ambush! And I know very well that in 99℅ cases there are no real obstacles to the program being able to be used on a device on which the Market does not allow this program to be installed. Why? It's simple! Well, let's think logically.

The program runs on another device from the same manufacturer, on the same version of the operating system. Yes, there is a different processor, different graphics, perhaps not, of course, something else is probably different. But, a priori, this program does not use, or at least should not use, any very specific features of the device - this is not some kind of toy, optimized to the utmost in order to squeeze out of the device everything that it is capable of. And this is not some program focused on using specific features of a platform, for example, NFC capabilities. Regular program, no special requirements.

Most likely, the device was not included in the list of supported ones for some not very important reason, for example, due to screen parameters. No, of course, screen parameters are important, but this is not the biggest problem. The maximum that can usually happen in this case is the not entirely correct display of some interface elements, and even then, not always. In addition, in my practice there were already examples of how the program worked wonderfully on a device that the Market noted as unsupported - Yandex.Shell. So I decided that I would install Mobile Banking on my tablet, period.

No sooner said than done. But to achieve the goal, some problems must be solved. Question number one - where can I get the apk of the application I'm interested in? There may be several answers. You can, for example, use a special free service that provides links to download applications from the Market. To do this, you need to find the application you are interested in on the Market, copy the contents of the browser's address bar and feed it to the service. The service, in response, will provide an address for downloading the apk application. Or you can simply download the program, for example, from the same 4pda. If you have a rooted device on which the application is already installed, you can simply copy the desired apk file. And this is not a complete list of methods. There are others, one of which I used.

Well, why didn’t I use any of the listed methods, but preferred another? It's simple. Firstly, I don’t really like installing programs not from the Market, especially ones like mobile banking. Well, who can guarantee me that the free service will provide a link to the original application posted in the Market? This is why I don’t really like downloading application programs from third-party resources. No, of course, I really respect w3bsit3-dns.com, but still. In addition, in the case of VTB24 Mobile Bank, version 4.2.8 was posted on 4pda at the time of writing, while the official latest version is numbered 5.0.2. I don’t like to play Ruth either; if possible, I try to do without it. You can call me paranoid, but I don’t like receiving software from intermediaries. Although, Play Market, of course, is also, in its own way, an intermediary, but it is, sort of, an authorized intermediary

So, based on all of the above, the answer to the first question is the following - the apk must be taken from the device on which installation from the Market is allowed, and, of course, has already been done.

Next, question number two arises: what can we use to get the apk we need? As I already said, solutions, such as installing root, do not suit me. Is there any way to check this? alternative way? Fortunately, yes. There is a whole class of programs that allows you to make backup copies of programs installed on the device. And on devices from Asus, the manufacturer itself installs one of these programs - Asus Backup. It is with its help that you can make a backup copy of the application (along with the data) on the device where the program can be (or has already) been successfully installed.

In addition, the existence of the Asus Backup program answers another question - how to install the program on a device on which installation from the Market is prohibited. After all, Asus Backup, like almost any other backup program, allows you not only to save a backup copy of information, but also to restore it.

So what do we have? There are answers to the following questions: where to get the apk file, how to get it, and how to try installing it on another device. All that remains is to solve the question of how to transfer an apk file from one device to another. But it’s difficult to call this a question, there are so many obvious answers that can be offered. In general, in order not to take too much time, here is a description of the steps that I took.

We make backup copies of mobile banking and parking on the phone - why not transfer this program at the same time, since it also cannot be installed from the Market due to incompatibility.

The Asus Backup program was also written by people who like to play it safe, hence, apparently, the request to set a password. After various confirmation windows, warnings, etc. etc. the program creates a subdirectory on the external memory card in the ASUSBackup directory with the name you specified when creating the backup copy - this question is asked during the backup preparation process. I left the default name: backup_date_time, where the date and time are replaced with the current date and time.

Then you need to transfer the created subdirectory from your phone to your tablet. I decided to use Google Drive for this. But you can use some other method - transfer via bluetooth, for example. By the way, the file manager from Asus can work not only with cloud services, but also with a local network, so you don’t have to take information outside your home network.

After uploading the backup catalog to Google Drive, you can put your phone aside and finally switch to your tablet. Using the same Asus file manager, we download the backup directory to the tablet. For the sake of order, I uploaded it to the ASUSBackup subdirectory on the external SD card, but this is not at all necessary. When the Asus Backup program runs in recovery mode, it apparently scans for previously made backups not only the directory into which it uploads backups, but also other directories, maybe even the entire file system.

Then it’s a small matter: you need to select the desired backup copy, enter the correct password, and choose which programs need to be restored - in my case it was both programs: mobile banking and parking. All. All you have to do is wait a little and voila - the programs have been restored, along with the data. For example, in parking lots I entered the car number and indicated my Yandex account - everything was transferred. And yes, the programs, as I expected, started working as if nothing had happened, as if there had never been this warning about an unsupported device.

It’s great that my assumption that the programs should work on the tablet was confirmed. I have already made payments using previously saved templates in mobile banking. True, I haven’t used the parking lots yet, but for the sake of order, I started and looked at the parking lots near work.

However, of course, this crutch cannot completely replace the entire service offered by the Google Play Market infrastructure. For example, the very next day a mobile banking update was released. As expected, a corresponding notification appeared on the phone and I updated the program. On the tablet, for obvious reasons, no notification was received, and the new version, in the same way, had to be transferred from the phone to the tablet by creating and restoring backup copy. So, I will still wait for both programs to become officially compatible with my tablet.

That's probably all. Yes, I want to mention one more point. I found a mobile bank in the Market on my tablet, although it showed a warning about an unsupported device. But I couldn’t find the Yandex parking program using the Play Market on my tablet. Apparently, the search was successful with a mobile bank because a device compatible with it had previously been installed on the tablet. old version programs. But the parking program is completely new, and the Market apparently believes that it should not confuse the user and show him a program that is incompatible with his device. Thus, there is a chance that you will not learn about any new useful program at all, even if potentially, after such cunning manipulations, it can work on your device. What to do in this case? Nothing, probably. If you really need the program, you will find a way to find it, find it, and install it. Now that's all, really.

P.S. I wrote the material quite a long time ago. While I was registering, rewriting, and so on, a normal version of the mobile bank for the tablet came out. But parking lots from Yandex have not appeared yet.

Often you encounter an error that says that this application is “not supported on your device.” This can confuse a person, and he will refuse to use a great method to pay for purchases. To prevent this from happening, in our material we will consider the possible causes of the failure, and whether it is possible to somehow bypass it.

Android Pay is not supported on this device: looking for reasons

There are no versions yet that could work smoothly on laptops, netbooks and other PC equipment. Perhaps they will be released soon, and the developer will notify users about this. At least there are promises online from the company. There is a solution to the problem; you can bypass this limitation yourself if you first download and install an emulator called Bluestacks on your laptop.

With BlueStack, your computer will support Whatsapp

How to check if the software is supported

It’s very simple, using a browser, go to the store where you can download various programs and utilities for free. To avoid confusion:

  1. For Android gadgets, this is Google Play;
  2. For devices on iOS platform– virtual market AppStore;
  3. Owners Windows Phone use Microsoft Store.

Check if Whatsapp is supported on Android.

Check if Whatsapp is supported on iPhone.

Check if Whatsapp is supported on Windows Phone.

In each of these Markets you need to find WhatsApp and carefully read the information provided on the page. If you logged in from your gadget, the system automatically calculates the operating system version. If the application is not supported, this will be indicated at the bottom of the download options, then you shouldn’t try to download it, nothing will start anyway.

WhatsApp itself is an analogue of an SMS messenger. The developer does not see the need to release a desktop version. On our website you can find tools that allow you to configure it on computer equipment and use it on both devices in parallel. Messages will be sent to both the PC and the smartphone; the profile remains the same and will not conflict between the two types of equipment.

Post navigation

This happened a little less than two...

Many owners of Android devices, when installing or updating applications, may sooner or later encounter the Google Play service message “Not supported on your device.” And if we are talking about some non-critical update, the absence of which does not interfere with the normal operation of the application, or the user is not interested in the next innovation of the program, there is no problem. You can safely continue to use the utility, and either ignore annoying system messages or completely disable them. But what to do in situations where the update is important and necessary, or the new application that needs to be installed has no analogues?

Reasons for the error

There are several ways to solve the problem, but the effectiveness of their use will depend on the causes of the problem. Google notifications Play "Not supported on your device":

  • the absence of a device model in the technical compatibility lists of the application (the gadget can easily work with this version of the program, but has not been tested by the developers);
  • banning the use of the application in a certain country;
  • actual incompatibility at the software level (inconsistency with the operating system version);
  • device mismatch system requirements.

The performance of a particular method will depend on these factors.

Google Play error "Not supported on your device": what to do

The Market Helper utility allows you to change the device ID requested by Google services to a suitable one that will be accepted by the market, after which the application will become available for download. However, the program will launch and work correctly only if it is compatible and meets the system requirements.

Please note that Market Helper requires superuser rights (so-called root rights) as the application makes changes to system files operating system. The program is installed using an apk file, which must first be downloaded from the official website. When launched, a window will appear with information about the current device, and this is where the replacement process begins. The sequence of actions is as follows:

  1. Under the Select Device line, select the device type and model,
  2. In the Select Operator section - country and telecom operator, respectively,
  3. Select account - indicate an existing one account V Google services.
  4. Tap the Activate button (at this point you will need to give the application root access),
  5. Visit the official Google Device Manager and check the compliance of the data entered into the application.
  6. Clear Play Market application data.

If everything is done correctly, and Google error Play "Not supported on your device" arose only because the device signature did not match the database, then the program will become available for download, installation and further use.

Getting root rights

Procedures for obtaining root rights to different devices may differ significantly from each other. Sometimes installation is enough small program and performing a couple of simple actions, and sometimes it may require extensive intervention in the software structure of a smartphone or tablet, requiring certain skills. In both cases, users will be helped by specialized resources where they can find all the information they need for a specific gadget, including detailed instructions.

There are two points to keep in mind:

  • Obtaining root rights is guaranteed to remove the device from warranty.
  • The user carries out all actions at his own peril and risk, since there is a possibility of turning the device into a “brick” or getting a bootlap - an eternal reboot.

Downloading apps from third party sources

  1. Download from selected site installation file applications by selecting a save folder, or download them using a computer and then transfer them to your smartphone.
  2. Make sure that the “Install applications from unverified sources” option is checked in the gadget’s security settings.
  3. Using the file manager, go to the save folder and start installing the application by tapping on the APK file.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete; if necessary, restart the device.

Using anonymization tools

Useful in cases where Google Play displays the “Not supported on your device” error due to geo-blocking.

First, you need to install a VPN service. To do this, you can use either the Play Market or download the installation file of the selected application yourself; fortunately, there are plenty of both paid and free utilities on the Internet. After the application is installed, in its settings you must specify a country that is not included in the block list, or one of its IP addresses. Next, you need to manipulate the basic settings of the device. If the application is distributed according to the free model, only the first point will be needed. For paid programs All points are carried out sequentially.

  1. Erase Play Market application data.
  2. Launch a store and enter payment information bank card(if this data has already been entered, the item can be ignored).
  3. In "Payment Methods" indicate one of the addresses of the country whose IP address is used for spoofing.
  4. Address and zip code information is available online at open access, there shouldn't be any problems finding it.

Operating system update

If the Google Play message "Not supported on your device" is due to incompatibility with the current version of Android, you can update your device to the latest version. In this case, you need to pay attention to the following:

  • The gadget's hardware must support updating to the required OS version. Specification and availability official firmware can be found on the official website of the device manufacturer or on specialized resources.
  • In the case of using unofficial (so-called custom firmware), all responsibility falls entirely on the user.
  • The device meets the minimum system requirements of the application, taking into account the possible increased load on the hardware from the updated operating system.

For example, the currently popular telephone “streaming” is actively supported by Twitter, which has developed the Periscope application specifically for today’s active youth. And if among them there are owners of devices with the Android operating system up to version 4.3 inclusive, then they will get the same Google Play error “Not supported on your device”: Periscope requires 4.4 installed. You will have to update or replace the device with a more modern one.

What's the result?

You should not immediately abandon the application you like just because the Play Market refused to install it on your smartphone. It makes sense to first understand the reasons why the Google Play error “Not supported on your device” occurs. This instruction will tell you how to fix it.
