Traditions - customs, habits, practical activities are passed on and observed from generation to generation no matter what.

Teacher: - Does your family have traditions? Which? The guys have been preparing messages and will now introduce you to some of the traditions of their families. Before you is a plan according to which they will try to build their performance. And you need to think about why we talk about holidays in ethics class? What is the connection between them?

We are growing together as a family.

The basis of the foundations is the parental home.

All your roots are in the family circle,

And you come into life from family.

In the family circle we create life,

The basis of the foundations is the parental home.

There are many family traditions. Let's look at some of them.

Hospitality (treating guests)

Teacher : One of the widespread traditions of different peoples has always been a feast. Guests gathered at a common table, sang, and the hosts treated them to some food.

What is your family's traditional holiday dish?

Each holiday should have its own face, and it is imperative to prepare for it.

Family album

Student : collecting and storing photographs is another family tradition.

Since 1829, when the French artist and designer Daguerre invented photography, the tradition of compiling and storing family albums has firmly entered our lives. Every family has photographs that leave lasting memories of dear people and events in family life.

Teacher: This tradition is very important. It is not without reason that during the war or in other situations when people were forced to leave their homes, they took with them only the most valuable things and among them photographs of dear people.

You can play the game:

“Guess who's in the photo ". Find photographs of relatives captured in childhood.

Family tree.

Student : For a long time, families have had a tradition of learning about their ancestors, drawing up their pedigree, family tree. This tradition is now returning to families. Together with your children, you can start compiling a family tree.

Family dynasties.

Teacher : Since ancient times, there has been a tradition: representatives of one family were engaged in one type of activity. This is how dynasties of potters, tailors, bakers, shoemakers, military men, builders, artists, and teachers were born. The whole family celebrated their professional holiday.

Tradition of spending free time with family.

Relaxation with the whole family, games, entertainment, and, of course, adventure. (fishing, treasure hunting, tour rallies, “Mom, Dad and Me” competitions, etc.)

You can have a Sunday lunch that absolutely everyone cooks. Each member of the household is entrusted with preparing some dish, then gathering at the common table.

And give your loved ones pleasant surprises. A delicious pie, a CD with beautiful music for the car, a new interesting dish, a funny keychain, a family photo in a frame.

New Year. HOLIDAYS

Teacher: Another one of everyone’s favorite holidays is “New Year”.

What are the traditions of celebrating the New Year?

Students list ( colorful invitations, we make fun gifts, souvenirs, and delicious treats with our own hands. As the chimes strike, we make wishes and exchange gifts, competitions, congratulations)

With a collection of snowman figurines that is replenished every year, you can arrange a home exhibition. And for every children’s birthday, come up with a holiday scenario with competitions and quizzes..

Teacher: How do you feel during the holiday?

Children answer

Task No. 2

Independent work.

Teacher: To draw a conclusion from our conversation, let's do a little independent work. You need to read the sentences on the card and underline those sentences with which you agree. The number of offers can be any - from 0 to 6.

Students are given cards with the following entries on each:

Holidays help us remember historical events and better understand them.

Holidays help keep generations connected.

Holidays help you learn the traditions of your people.

Holidays teach us to respect other people's cultures.

Holidays give us the opportunity to experience pride in our family, our city, our people, our country.

Holidays allow us to remember people who did something very important for the family, city, and country.

Students complete the task.

Checking the progress of the work.

The teacher asks the children who underlined the 1st sentence to raise their hands, then the 2nd sentence, etc. The number of raised hands is recorded on the board.

Formulating a conclusion

Teacher:“You have emphasized many proposals, but among them there is no proposal that a holiday is needed only to relax.

Let's try to replace all the sentences you have chosen with one that can convey their meaning.

The guys try to complete this task and offer their own options.

Teacher: The teacher opens the conclusion written on the board, everyone reads together: “Family holidays as one of the forms of historical memory.”

Conclusions. RESULT

Teacher:- What are family holidays and family traditions for?

- Children:

To make it interesting, fun, so that the family is strong and friendly.

At the holiday, a person relaxes, forgets about sadness and sadness. The more people get together, communicate and have fun, the kinder and friendlier it becomes.

Teacher:

When we want to organize a holiday, we really often turn to the experience of our parents, grandfathers, grandmothers, great-grandparents, great-grandmothers, trying to take the most interesting, unusual; We learn from them about how holidays were celebrated before, and we slowly dive into history.

The holiday itself will not work without the help of every family member. But aren't family holidays worth our efforts? After all, in return we receive such joy - the feeling that we are needed and close to each other, that we feel good together.

The main thing is that after many, many years, you, already matured, will remember family holidays with joy and a little sadness and would like to revive the traditions of your parents’ home in your own family.

Reflection.

What new did you learn in class?

What holiday traditions would you like to continue?

At the initiative of the National Foundation for the Protection of Children from Abuse and the professional association "Russian Association of Children's Helplines", as well as in accordance with a letter from the Government of the Orenburg Region, the International Day of Children's Helplines is celebrated on May 17, 2011 under the motto "CHILDREN SAY YES TO THE HELPLINE!"

Slide 3

This is a free anonymous emergency psychological assistance service for children and adolescents over the phone, helping to identify and prevent child problems, violations of children’s rights, and abuse.

In the Orenburg region this phone has been operating since September 1, 2010, it has received more than 4 thousand requests from children, adolescents and adults.

Slide 5

The first helpline appeared in 1953 to help people in crisis, including suicide prevention.

Englishman Chad Vara published his phone number in the newspaper and suggested calling people at any time if difficulties arise in their lives that they themselves are not able to cope with: when they are lonely, confused or thinking about ending their life.

Slide 6

He had no idea that an avalanche of calls would fall upon him.

For several days he dealt with the influx of requests himself. The main thing that he understood during this time was that all those who called, first of all, needed friendly help.

He soon came to the conclusion that he could not cope with this matter alone, and began to look for volunteer help.

Now they all answered calls together. Thus was born a worldwide movement of people helping others over the phone. There is now a whole network of emergency telephone services around the world. This is a popular and widely known type of professional psychological assistance. Help is provided free of charge, anonymously (no one is told who called and why).

    How does the Helpline work?

The helplines are staffed by specially trained specialists – psychologists. Some helplines can even be staffed by teenagers who have undergone special training—those kids who call them find it easier to talk about painful issues with a peer than with an adult.

The Helpline allows a person experiencing any difficulties to receive support, to be understood and accepted, to understand a difficult situation for him in a calmer environment and to decide on concrete steps.
