Install the primary charge shaft.

Magnetic shaft - is a metal tube, inside of which there is a magnetic core. The function of the magnetic roller is to charge the toner with a negative charge and then apply it to the drum during the printing process. The appearance of various defects (dirt, scratches) on the magnetic shaft affects the print quality.
Dosing bar (blade) - made in the form of a metal frame with a flexible plate at the end and is designed to regulate the amount of toner that enters the magnetic shaft. During operation of the cartridge, traces of toner particles appear on the dispensing bar, the presence of which negatively affects the print quality, therefore, each time you disassemble and refill the cartridge, the dispensing bar must be cleaned of toner residues.
Remove the magnetic shaft by unscrewing the left side cover of the cartridge.

What will you need for work?

You don't have to use the latter if you fill it to the brim.
Where should I start?
After removing the cartridge from the laser printer, the first step is to remove the side cover screw. After this you can remove it. After you remove the outer shell, remove the drum unit. Hold it on the white gear side and pull it outward.
Remove the photoconductor and note its location. Now you need to connect the PCR roller. Lightly press the right side of the rod using any sharp tool. Then slide the roller up a little and remove it by pulling it to the left.
Final disassembly of the cartridge
The next step is to separate the waste and ink block, which are held together using pins. Therefore, you must remove the pins that are on both sides of the cartridge.
After you push the pin out from the inside, you can pull it out from the outside. Once you remove the contacts on both sides of the toner cartridge, you should remove the spring.
Next, install the two main cartridge blocks. One is for waste and the other is for ink. Now you need to remove the spring and plastic cover. Remove the waste block screws to extend the wiper blade. After this, remove the waste that collects in it. It is best to clean with a soft cloth rather than a brush, as this may scratch the blade.
Then you need to assemble the parts of the mining block. Install the wiper blade first and then the plastic cover.
Refueling process
And now directly to the instructions for refilling the Canon 725 cartridge. What you did earlier is disassembling the waste unit and cleaning it. Now comes the main part, which is filling the cartridge. So, take the other block where the ink is. Open it and fill it with ink (dry). Handle the powder carefully, as inhaling it into your lungs can be harmful to your health.
It is recommended to wear gloves, but if you happen to remove toner from your skin or any objects, do it only with cold water. Due to exposure to high temperature, the powder will only be absorbed more strongly. The toner must be dry; it is not allowed to refill the cartridge with wet powder. After refilling the Canon 725 cartridge, you need to close the compartment. Next, you can connect the two blocks that were separated earlier.
What else should I change?
Now you can assemble the entire cartridge; for this you will need to install the photoconductor, magnetic shaft and rubber roller in their places. It is worth noting that all these elements have different resources, so when repairing a cartridge you need to focus on approximately the following data:
- The photoconductor drum should be replaced every three refills.
- The magnetic roller and the rubber roller last a little longer - up to 5 refills.
- Magnetic shaft cleaning blade - 3-5 refills.
If measured in printed pages, then one refill is enough for approximately 500-600 sheets. And this is one pack of paper, maybe a little more.
But it also happens that the body itself wears out - in this case it will be much easier and cheaper to purchase a new cartridge, even a Chinese analogue. These elements cannot be restored, and buying a new one will cost about the same amount as you need to spend on purchasing components.
